Can you give me ideas for a traditional indian baby gift?
I am a nurse and a physician who I work with and very much respect is expecting a child around thanksgiving. I am planning a mini celebration in our office and am taking up a collection to put together a baby basket with must haves for him and his wife. I thought it would be nice to include a traditional indian cultural gift with the other baby essentials and I understand that gold bangle bracelets are often given for the baby, however I am not certain if there are other meanings for colors and types or where I might get something.
