What are the top 10 most needed items by a college student?
My sister is turning 18 in a couple weeks and next year she is going to college. So I thought I would make her a gift basket For her birthday for when she goes away of stuff that she would use/need alot.
Any help would greatly apreciated!

1) Laundry soap
2) Power strip/surge protector (this is actually #1 - most dorms were built before everyone had their own TV, computer, cell phone, CD player, DVD player, dorm fridge, etc and don't have enough outlets!)
3) Pens/paper/binders
4) Aspirin/Tylenol
5) AA and AAA batteries
6) Alarm clock with battery backup
7) Lockbox (about 12 by 12 by 4 inches, you know the kind)
Backpack
9) Calculator with trig functions (I got to calc II and never once needed the $200 graphing calculator, get her one of the $20 jobbies at Wal-Mart).
10) Book light or desk lamp
